Bluetooth not working

Good afternoon Art.

A soft copy of the owners' manual for the 2011 Malibu can be found here:
https://www.chevrolet.com/content/dam/Chevrolet/northamerica/usa/nscwebsite/en/Home/Ownership/Manuals_and_Videos/02_pdf/2011_chevrolet_malibu_owners.pdf

if you scroll through to manual page 7-25 (PDF Page 180), you'll find the info on pairing bluetooth stretching on for quite a ways. It looks like it can practically elope with your phone along with passing along phone calls.

I'm hoping that can help you run through pairing or diagnoses.
(The other thing to potentially look for might be a blown fuse. Forums like this one
Bluetooth phone icon stuck on and radio won work place bluetooth with the Audio System fuse, and say pulling the fuse and then replacing it will reset the Bluetooth as well. The manual noted above, starting on manual page 10-35, goes over the location of all the fuse panels, and pairs fuses to function.

Hope this helps you get to the bottom of it.
Good Luck!

I have an audi S4 2007 what is my blue tooth pairing code???

When u want to pair your bluetooth phone the first time, you must do this in the first 30 seconds after ingnition. This is the only period your audi bluetooth carkit is in search mode. Follow these steps to make it work:

Put your bluetooth phone in search mode, then start your car. Your phone will now detect something like AUDI UHV-1 or similar. Connect to this device, and enter either code 1234 or else code 0000. Your phone will then connect. Command your phone to keep the Audi device listed as a save connection, which can automatically connect. The next time you enter your car it will connect by itself (after ignition that is).

Bluetooth connection... with no audio. the pair appears easily with the LG Dare phone, with signal strength and battery strength showing on the display, but there is no audio

Though the phone paired, is it compatible?  Some phones will pair but not work.  The salesman should have told you about the website that shows which phones are compatible.  When the button is pressed does the radio go quiet?  Is the radio on?  Do voice commands work for the center stack?  will it ring when someone calls you.  If the phone is good, then try the HFL unit.  WWW.HANDSFREELINK.COM
