SOURCE: 2005 Dodge Magnum, after replacing battery,cd player won't work

My story Dealing with Dodge

I had a 1994 Dodge Ram. The Red Dodge Ram I had it malfunctioned and my brake became the throttle. I had to put the truck in reverse then park. to stop, after it was out of control at 80 mph a hill slowed us down. Are you sure its not electrical and the curse control is not giving you trouble? Mine had multifunction switch was not working and the headlight switch burned up. I also found out that Audi had problem with the brake becoming the throttle in the 1980s Daimler Chrysler and Audi were German made. I don't think there is an easy answer. I hope you stay safe. Another man is having strange trouble also. I'm sure there are many more people with trouble with the vehicles. I wish Dodge would step up to the truth. and recall their nightmares. I saw many of their 1996 Dodge trucks at their dealers shop with all the electrical pulled out.

SOURCE: Check engine light

A multi misfire may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
Faulty spark plug or wires, Faulty coil (pack), Faulty oxygen sensor(s), Faulty fuel injector(s), Stuck/blocked EGR valve / passages, Faulty camshaft position sensor, Defective computer.

The engine is stumbling or hesitating, check all wiring and connectors that lead to the cylinders (i.e. spark plugs). Depending on how long the ignition components have been in the car, it may be a good idea to replace them as part of your regular maintenance schedule. I would suggest spark plugs, spark plug wire, distributor cap, and rotor (if applicable). Otherwise, check the coils (a.k.a. coil packs). In some cases, the the problems were faulty fuel injectors.

Random misfires that jump around from one cylinder to another (read: P030x codes) also will set a P0300 code. The underlying cause is often a lean fuel condition, which may be due to a vacuum leak in the intake manifold or unmetered air getting past the airflow sensor, or an EGR valve that is stuck open.

Good luck and hope this information helps, keep me posted, be glad to help you get the truck running 100% again. Not sure if your running a K&N air filter, and if you are there may be a flim of oil on the MAF sensor that is making you run lean. You may want to spray down the MAF sensor with a can of MAF cleaner.

Where do i find the factory code to reset the keyless entry on my 2005 f-250

Not 100 % at the answer but it's very well written and documentated. Apparently the code is on the back of the computer module that sits on the firewall behind the AC.

I washed the engine didn't throw anything into tank just cleaned dirt around engine nw it doesn't want to start.there is diesel cumin into pump an nothing by injectors it seems like the solenoid inside...

You might unplug the connector going to the fuel shut off solenoid and make sure it is dry. It sounds like you have gotten a bit of water into an electrical connector and are not completing a circuit for fuel delivery.

I have a 2002 mitsubishi, galant e.s. cruise quit working with running lights turned on.

Check the cruise control fuse. Do a visual check of all wiring relating to the cruise control system. Look for melted insulation, broken wires, burned wires and twisted wires without a wire connector. Repair any wire damage with the splicing and wire connecting tool and the right size wire connector for the wire you are repairing.

My 2000 dodge dakota 4x4 with the 3.9 v6 keeps throwing codes for the crankshaft postioning sensor i have replaces this part and reset the computer about three weeks ago now the code has poped back up

Check for loose or corroded wires. Get yourself a spray CRC type of wire connection cleaner. WD 40 is fine. I upon having strange problems, disconnect wiring connections and spray a shot on both connectors. I disconnect and reconnect a couple times each to clean better. The underside of your fuse panel under the hood needs the same.If you have to unhook the platform and look at all the connections there. That is a trouble spot anyway.

1998 Dodge ram 3500slt 4 x 4 diesel Cummings

OK. MR. MORA. SEEMS TO ME THAT YOU HAVE A PROBLEM THAT YOU CAN SOLVE, DUE TO THE FACT THAT YOU REPLACED THE MOTOR YOURSELF. WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO DO IS GO BACK TO BASICS, BOTH VISUAL AND MECHANICAL, FIRST OF ALL LOOK FOR LOOSE OR UNPLUGGED ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS, ESPECIALLY THE ONES AROUND THE FIRE WALL OR BACK SIDE OF ENGINE. ONE OR TWO MAY BE OFF OR NOT CORRECTLY PLUGGED IN. NEXT DUE TO TRANSMISSION NOT SHIFTING OUT OF DEFAULT GEAR (SECOND GEAR) YOU WILL NEED TO RETRIEVE THE FAILURE CODES THEY SHOULD BE RELATED TO TRANSMISSION DESCRIPTORS, WRITE ALL OF THEM DOWN. ALSO LOOK FOR LOOSE GROUNDING WIRES AND GROUND THEM PROPERLY. I THINK YOU WILL FIND THE PROBLEM. IF NOT REPOST FOR MORE HELP BUT, REPOST WITH THE FAILURE CODES. I WILL NEED THEM TO HELP YOU FURTHER.

I have a 99 chevy 1500 4x4 5.3 l got code po 332 put new ones in same code saws low voilts

This condition may be the result of corrosion of the rear bank knock sensor due to water intrusion into the sensor cavity. This condition is more apparent on vehicles in which customers frequently wash the engine compartment. Replace the rear bank knock sensor and build a dam (wall) around the sensor using RTV to divert water away from the sensor. Also, check for corrosion on the connector plug. Visually inspect the wiring going to the Rear Bank Knock Sensor for damage. After you have replaced the sensor, and checked for damages, have the code reset and see if it comes back.

I have a 2005 dodge neon, throwing codes p0129, u110c, p0508.. what needs to be changed?

you will have to deal with the u code first. This is a communication problem between computers. My first guess is you have a bad computer or an open wire somewhere. Their is no way a backyard mechanic can do this without the proper tools to diagnose and with the knowledge to not cause further damage.

You have not down a scan of the TCM (transmission control module) for fault codes, you need that done first before throwing away money on parts that don't fix the problem.
