My power window on the driver side wont go up or dwn but the other 3 switches on the driver panel work what could be the problem.

check connections and test switch if bad replace

Bad Switch? Bad motor? Get a volt ohm meter out and test for power to and thru the switch. Pull the door panel and check the power and ground to the window motor

You have to remove the inner door panel to
access the window regulator

You remove the regulator & then the motor from it

Before you replace anything, inspect the connector pins in both the driver's door switch and the passenger door switch. If you don't find any problem with these connector pins, replace the driver's door control switch.

remove door panel whack motor with hammer,if window goes up replace motor if not switch.

The driver side window switch is the master switch, the power or input to either roll the window up or down goes thru that switch. Double check all the connections on the back of the driver side window switch are good. With a DVOM you can also check to see if 12v are even getting to the master switch in the first place. If you aren't even getting power to the main power window switch you could've blown the power window fuse.

you can take outhte switch and reverse the connections on the dr door switch so dwn is up and up is dwn to see if its the motor or switch ...

First check your fuse panel. Other than that...Perhaps moisture has gotten in the door panel and messed with the connection. I would take the panel off and investigate..make sure everything is plugged in.

ok do you have one good switch for the pass front and both rears.....in other words do you have at least one of those 3 windows that work normal????if you do remove that switch and connect it to the other windows and check for normality in operation...if it works fine at the switch then the new switch you have is faulty
