Tire inflations are printed on the side wall of the tires. the amount is the MAXIMUM amount of air and you should adjust the pressure based on load and terrain. Also there should be a recommended pressure on the federal sticker that is usualy located on the drivers door. There isn't any certain pressure that is right for everyone.

Look at the side of the tire itself, tire pressure is right there. Open the door, look down and see the sticker, the info is right there along with the size of the tires when you need to buy them. Open the owners manual, again the information is right there.

SOURCE: where and how to change cabin filter chevy equinox

Hiya...the cabin air filter is located below the front passenger/windshield area.
It's only accessible by standing outside the Equinox with the hood open.
Here's how to do it...(before you pop open the hood)

1) Stand outside at the front-right door area.
2) Just below the front windshield area, pull up a few small black plastic clips that's on the black windshield wiper cowl area- a small flat screwdriver or a special clip-remover tool is handy.
3) Raise the hood up.
4) There may be a triangular-shaped hard foam sound damper at the left side nearby the hood hinge...pull it off if it allow you to work around it with ease.
5) Continue to find a few black plastic clips around the black windshield wiper cowl area.
6) Gently pull up the black windshield wiper cowl cover with care not to bend it too hard during removal.
7) You should see the cabin air filter inside that's held in place by a black rectangular box inside.
8) There's 2 black tabs that holds the cabin air filter in place.
9) Insert your finger or tool to pry the cabin air filter away from the tabs.
10) Remove old cabin air filter.

Remember to reinstall the clip parts back into place when you're finished.

I have a 2005 Chevy Equinox. There is a light with a t/s inside a sort of shield shaped icon. Any ideas?

It's eaither the traction control light or your tire pressure system light. Check your owner's manual for more information.

I have a Chevy Equinox LT with 235 60 17 tires on it.. I came across a set of 235 75 17 tires.. Can I put these on or would they affect the car/performance

If they fit. They are going to be taller. They will also throw off your speedo. You might think that you are going 50 when you are actually going 55. That is about all it will do if they fit.

I replaced the heater coil in my 2005 chevy equinox and it is still over heating and the heat only works for a short time , then the cold air blows, then the heat kicks back on. A certified mechanic did...

Its a combination of 2 things water pump failing and thermostat stuck closed / or open. Replace these and you should be all fixed. Also make sure your cooling fans operate correctly.
Good luck.

They would be fine, they will be a little bit taller then your factory tires, but you should have plenty of clearance on that model. May effect your speedometer, so pay attention to speed after changing to different tire size. Should only be a half inch difference I think, so your only talking a couple miles an hour. Easy test put cruise on 60 mph. drive 1 mile timing it should take exactly 60 seconds to reach the end of the mile.

2005 Equinox: 2005 chevy equinox vibration at low speeds...

A low speed vibration is likely caused by a tire. Check to see if any rims are bent. Have the tires checked and replaced as necessary. If the tires are worn unevenly have an alignment done. If this is an AWD model check the driveshaft and support bearing.
