Audi a6 car alarm go's off at randam

The alarm go's now and again on my 2001 audi a6 avant and id like to no the location of the alarm and whether i could turn the shock senser down because it could be wagons passing or any other suggestions somebody might have. thnq.

Alarm goes off randomly. Drains the battery due to lights. Way to sensetive. Any help

Audi A6 Avant 2002 tdi sport.

Alarm goes off randomly or did, then after a few weeks the interior lights flash on and off when you're driving, then the car locks itself and to get out you have to pull the door handles on the inside twice to get out. Now just happened overnight all the amber indicators are on permanently and the electronic locking will not work off the key.

With no indicators it has become illegal to drive.

Please does anyone know a simple fix ?

Make sure all windows and sunroof are closed (completely). This is the only way that I have found to rectify the problem.

Where r the pollenfilters located on audi a6 2007 diesel ?

For 2007 Audi A6 depending on the engine type, there are two placements for cabin air filters:
1. The cabin air filters are placed on the right bottom side of the central console - passenger side, for 2007 Audi A6 Avant. Remove the carpet and behind the plastic cover are cabin filters. When installing new filters see for the correct position - air flow is indicated by an arrow. See pictures below:

2. For the second placement, besides you need to remove the glove box for access and replace cabin air filters.

should be in your owners manual if you have one. or there should be an options menu through the switch in the instrumnet cluster or through the I-drive if you have one
