No torque specs about this CKP sensor...

  1. The CKP sensor is located on the transmission bellhousing. Disengage the sensor wiring connector and remove the sensor wiring hold-down clip from the fuel rail.
  2. Remove the sensor mounting bolt and carefully pull the sensor out of the bellhousing.
  3. Installation is the reverse of removal.
Hope helps.

1997 jeep wrangler 6 cylinder flywheel torque

It depends on what you are calling "flywheel". If it is a manual transmission, the vehicle is equiped with a true "flywheel", if it is equipped with an automatic transmission, it is equipped with a "flex plate" which a lot of people refer to as a flywheel.

With that said the torque specs are:
Flywheel-to-crankshaft bolts - 105 Ft. Lbs (142 N.m)
Flexplate-to-crankshaft bolts - 55 Ft. Lbs (75 N.m)

Cylinder number 5 misfire, what is the cause? connected obd II and detected number 5 cylinder misfire?

I'm assuming the code that was pulled is P0305. Best case would be a bad spark plug on the number 5 cylinder. Keep in mind, the spark plugs are torque sensitive when installing. These are the possible causes that are stated in a Jeep service manual for your vehicle. Check the basics first......Camshaft,crankshaft,valve timing or vacuum problem, ignition coil output is low, engine internal mechanical problem, secondary ignition pattern is irregular, fuel contamination, Fuel pressure leak down is out of spec, fuel pump ampere out of spec, fuel pump capacity out of spec, fuel pressure is out of spec., engine compression, PVC system restriction, Fuel injector #5 is defective or the connection on the injector itself is loose or corroded, Intake gasket defective. It could also be freeze frame data in the PCM, but this is a very very rare cause.

What motor or motors came in the jeep cherokee in 1985 in the US.

1985 Jeep Cherokee came with either a 4 cylinder 2.5L with a 1 barrel carb or a 6 cylinder 2.8L with a 2 barrel carb. The 4WD only had the option of a 4 cylinder 2.1L turbo Diesel.

What is the torque specs for a 1998 jeep Cherokee classic straight 6 4.0 liter? I am replacing the head gasket and need to find the lbs of torque. Thank you for any advice, pictures, etc.

Torque sequence ------------------ front | 12 8 4 1 5 9 13 | of | | engine | 11 7 3 2 6 10 14 | ------------------ Final torque must be reached in 3 equal steps Step 1: torque all bolts (except bolt 11) to 110 Ft/Lbs Step 2: torque bolt 11 to 100 Ft/Lbs Recheck final torque in sequence.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Drain the cooling system.
  3. Disconnect the hoses at the thermostat housing.
  4. Properly relieve the fuel system pressure.
  5. Remove the cylinder head cover.
  6. Loosen the rocker arms.
  7. Remove the pushrods.

The valvetrain components must be replaced in their original positions.
  1. Remove the intake and exhaust manifold from the cylinder head.
  2. Disconnect the spark plug wires and remove the spark plugs.
  3. Disconnect the temperature sending unit wire, ignition coil and bracket assembly from the engine.
  4. Remove the accessory drive belt(s).
  5. Unbolt and set aside the power steering pump and bracket. Do not disconnect the hoses.
  6. Remove the intake and exhaust manifold assembly.
  7. If equipped with A/C, perform the following:
    1. Remove the compressor and position it aside with the lines attached.
    2. Remove the compressor bracket bolts from the cylinder head.
    3. Loosen the through bolt at the bottom of the bracket.

  8. Remove the alternator.
  9. Remove the cylinder head bolts, the cylinder head and gasket from the block.

Bolt No. 14 cannot be removed until the head is moved forward. Pull the bolt out as far as it will go and suspend in place by wrapping with tape.
  1. Discard the gasket. Thoroughly clean the head-to-block mating surface.
  2. Clean and inspect the cylinder head thoroughly. Refer to the engine reconditioning portion outlined later in this section.

To install:
  1. Coat a new head gasket with suitable sealing compound and place it on the block. Most replacement gaskets will have the word TOP stamped on them.

Apply sealing compound only to the cylinder head gasket. Do not allow sealing compound to enter the cylinder bore.
