Base line radio,... Orange -hot all the time, Acc fuse ..-20amp. Yellow ,Hot -key on.. Radio fuse -10amp.... Delco, Bose system...Orange,-20amp ARC fuse..Hot all the time, Yellow, radio fuse, -10 amp, hot with key on. Your second orange wire powers your Amp Relay, in the Acc fuse,- 20 amp ..it has a constant hot, or power..so you might be getting power @ the Radio, but Nothing out the speakers.. Hope that helps..

Installed a new radio now I don't have inside dash lights

Your old radio had at least 2 power wires, some had 3. One of them stays hot all the time for the clock and radio presets, the second is hot when the key is turned on. And the third is hot when your dash lights are on. If you get these mixed up when replacing the radio, you will have this problem. Most of the dash lights on a GM are under the taillight fuse. I would check them all with a test light. Make sure you are not powering your radio from this circuit. You don't want to dim your radio.

Radio shuts off

yes there is a fuse in the fuse panel drivers side up where the dash meets the door panel. sounds like you have a bad connection in either the red wire(switched +12 volt) going to the stereo or the yellow wire (unswitched +12 volt) or in the ground wire which is black it need a good constant connection on all three to operate correctly. you can temporarily try running a wire directly to the battery and hooking yellow and red wires to the + and the black to the - and see if the problem goes away if it does you have a wire that is losing its connection somewhere in your car

I need to know where the fuse is for my radio

Do you know where the fuse box is located? It will either be under the dash on the drivers side or on the side of the dash where the door shuts on either side. The radio fuse is a 10 amp fuse and if there is not a listing on the fuse box door or on the fuse box its self then you can use a test light to see if there are any blown. To do this you will need to find a good ground (I like the hinge bolts on the door my self) the fuse has to little metal spots on top. Check both sides with the ignition on or in the accy position. You should get light on both sides if you only get it on one side the fuse is blown if you get no power then there is no power getting to the fuse. To find the one you want you may have to test all of them.
