Make sure all body grounds are clean and tight. Not only must the battery ground be clean and tight, you have body grounds also to make sure proper power gets to the instruments. There's a ground on the instrument panel also. Make sure it's connected. At least 2 grounds to the body under the dash must be clean and connected tight. Don't strip the screws out, just be sure they are connected.

Hi, Check all sparkplugs and wires. also check rotor and cap for cracks.
Use throutlebody cleaner and clean out air intake and a new filter. Hope that helps
