Would need a scan tool to diagnose , if you knew what DTC - diagnostic trouble code was stored , you mite be able to fix it . A part store may be able to pull code or codes . What vehicle do you have ? year , make , model ?

You have to find and fix the fault the code relates to , delete the code then test drive to make sure the code does not come back if it does the fault is not fixed.

Check engine, I fix the prob get another code, going on 4 YEARS, SMOG STATIONS FIX CODE EVERY YEAR , GET CAR BACK AND LIGHTS BACK ANOTHER CODE, ONE CODE NEVER FIXED IS INTERM SHORT, CHANGED COMPUTOR

If I were guessing, I would suggest you:

1. Take it to a different mechanic.
2. Take it to an auto parts place and get the code read.
3. Give us more information. Start with the make/model/year/engine of your car, and then give us a real history of what was fixed every year.

With just what you tell us here, it sounds like you either have a lemon that cannot be fixed, or your mechanic sees you as an annuity, a ready, regular source of income, or both.

What does code p0033 cause?

p0033 code. It is a Turbo Charge Bypass Valve control circuit code.

I have a 92 Lexus LS 400 I had a code 13 but I fix that but the engine light is still on what do I do?

Chances are the problem causing the code to be set is still there.
If the problem is fixed, and you clear the code, it should not come back.
Code 13 should be a loss of RPM signal which could be a cam sensor or something else.

Reset check engine light

need code scanner but first find what causes check engine light to turn on.you need to code scan find what code you are getting fix bad sensor.then use code scan to erase code.if you dont fix problem will check engine light will stay on.

Go onto google.Type in the code end the model of your car.There will be sites on there what will tell you,Exacly what that code is about. I have had verry good luck that way. Since someone waled off with my code manaul.

Trouble code P0421 on a 2000 Miata what can I do to fix this issue

You still have a code cause you haven't addressed it. This code is for catalyst efficiency. And though you may have inadvertantly fixed what's causing it to go bad by tuning up the vehicle you haven't fixed the end result. Do not clear the light as it it will be needed for diagnosing the vehicle.

Get the code scanned again.

If it is the same code, the problem was not fixed.
Could also be another problem that came up while fixing the 1st code ( i.e. knocked a vacuum line off ).

If you do not have a code scanner, Autozone will scan the code for free, get the actual code number and post a comment back to this problem, or start a new one with the code number, and what you have done to this point ( include the 1st code and what you did in what order when attempting to fix that one ).

Check Engine light is on.

have code pulled from light when code is pulled and problem fixed light will go off could be hundreds of different things the code will tell whats wrong by haveing it pulled

DTC P1537 - Intake Manifold Runner Control Stuck Open Bank 1 and 2

It controls the length and speed of incoming air for a certain engine rpm to optimize swirl, efficiency, and minimize knocking. It's long and fast for low rpm and idle, short and large volume for higher engine loads. How's your truck running? I'm guessing it would be lean at idle if it's stuck open. I would look at your vacuum lines on the intake manifold. I think it would be vacuum operated.

Keep in mind that the IMRC Valves are located on the back of the intake and are listed as an item that the dealer needs to diagnose and repair.
