Many possibilities. I would start with wheels, and take it to a well equipped tire dealer. Have them check that the wheels and rims are clean, properly torqued. Spin the wheels up to speed and check for dynamic wheel balance. Check for broken radial belts. Check for recalls on your tires. Check for driveshaft and universal joint damage/ balance.

I have a 2000 ford windstar van. When I crank it up it shakes very bad but once I take off the shaking goes away but it replaced with a vibration in the steering wheel and once at the stop light it starts...

you might have a vaccume leak or the mar sensor may need cleaning if it's a fuel injected setup i really need engin size to get a better line on problem try you tube also.

I have a toyota Camry 2000 and the check engine light is on and the steering wheel is shaking when driving over 40 mph

The shaking may be a separated tire.

If the check engine light is on there will be a code. Have the computer scanned for trouble codes to see why the light is on.

I have a 2002 f-150 fx4, it is shaking constantly. It seem to get worse when you push the accelerator. The shaking gets worse around 40to50 mph. I have recently had a new air intake put in as well as new...

Clean the MAF first with MAF cleaner as it could be dirty . The O2s may be contaminated or lazy . The O2s may be falsely reporting or switching too slow . Does it run better when you first crank it up in morning ?

My truck starts to shake when i reach 20 mph. what could be the problem?

Could be a multitude of issues, but we'll start with the easy possibilities first. --------- Check all of your tires. You may have a broken belt in one (or both) front tires and that can lead to shaking. If you can, take the tires off and look at each tire straight on, as if you were looking through the tread. Roll the tire slowly away from you and watch to see if the tread is off-center, or if the tire has a bulge on one sidewall. If so, that would be your problem. Just get new tires.

Next, check all of your lug nuts to make sure they are all there and all tight.(Front and back). Also check to see if any of your holes where the studs come through the rims aren't 'oval', as this is a sign of loose lugnuts, will cause shaking, not to mention, is extremely unsafe. If any holes are oval, you will need to replace the rims, and also possibly the studs as the studs have had excessive uneven torque on them, leading them to fail and you could loose a tire while driving. If you can drive through the shaking to a higher speed most likely there is a problem with your tires or rims.. possibly out of balance or a belt is separated in one of the tires.. have your tires checked for balance and while they are being checked have the tire shop look at your rims to make sure they are no bent...

It sounds like you need a tune change at least the wires and plugs it also could be a worn or broke motor or tranny mount.

Truck shakes when braking.

The problem could be from the brake disk in the front that is worped, try different brake pads with different material that could have less brake dust on the rims

The whole vehicle shaking or an engine kind of shake?
The whole vehicle shake could be the tires need balanced. When they are out of balance they can clear up as the speed increases.

Maybe an "engine kind of shake". It feels like the front end of the body is shaking. If I let up on the gas and then accellerate out of it, the shaking goes away.

Sorry I have been away for a while.
If it does not feel like an engine miss like from an ignition fault, inspect the motor and transmission mounts. Do you feel as if its not speed related but could be RPM related? Look and make sure your harmonic balancer is still intact. The outer part on them can also spin. To for that you would need to rotate the motor to where #1 is at TDC and look at the mark on the balancer to see if it lines up with the timing mark.
