My air bag light continues to stay on

the code shown is indicate the following possibility

1- Faulty Assist Air Bag Module
2-Assist Air Bag Module harness is open or shorted
3- Assist Air Bag Module circuit poor electrical connection Faulty Diagnosis Sensor Unit

Please check and insure that all cable you have remove is fixed back correctly.

Use a scan tool to reset the airbag module.If all parts of the airbag system,(seat belts sensors etc) are in working condition,the system will reset and the airbag light will stay off.

its not a seat sensor, most likely you got mosture in the body control module

Do you have a check engine light on ? Common problem with Chrysler is the crank sensor, won way to check is with a scanner, connect to dlc, and goin to live data stream and watch your rpm if you have no signal while cranking that's your problem,another possible cause could be your anti theft system , is your security light blinking ,staying on or not coming on at all?

There are about 20 different faults that turn the Airbag light on, each has its own fault code number, to find out the problem the Airbag moduel must be scanned with a special tool.

Anytime your airbag light illuminates, there is a problem with the SRS system and the airbags will not deploy in the event of a collision. Have it checked out asap, if you want the airbags working.

The clockspring (air bag wiring, under steering wheel) maybe be bad.

Sounds like you need to get it scanned for trouble codes. It will most likely need a new air bag clock spring. This is the wound connection under the steering wheel, it is a common failure item. It may be some other things related to the safty restraint system, but that will show up in a vehicle scan.
