01' Ford Expedition: Audio from VHS through radio?

I was told that when playing a VHS Cassette there is a way to get the sound to come through the radio and not only the headphone jacks. Is there a radio station that I can tune that will play the sound or do i need to get aftermarket parts to do so? Any help would be appreciated

There is a 3.5 mm cassette adapter that you can plug into the vhs these were used when portable cd players came out so you could put the cassette into your radio and the plug into the headphone jack you might also need the 1/4 jack to 3.5mm adapter plug depending on your units plugs

Lost sound on 2005 impala. radio works. seems like amp problem.

Do you have base or up;level system ?

Table 1: Radio Features
Table 2: Cassette Features
Table 3: Compact Disc Features
Table 4: XM Advisory Messages
The radio receives power from the RADIO fuse in the junction block-right I/P. Ground is provided via G201 and G202. The radio is enabled/disabled by class 2 messages from the body control module (BCM). The radio routes audio signals from the digital radio receiver or the vehicle communication interface module (VCIM) to the speakers and/or amplifier when directed by class 2 messages.
The Entertainment System on this vehicle is configured with an AM/FM stereo radio with the radio data system (RDS) and either a cassette player or a CD player or both. CD and cassette. The uplevel system provides the customer with extended range speakers and an audio amplifier. Satellite digital radio (U2K) is available with uplevel systems.
The following list shows the radios available for this vehicle:
• Radio (ULO) - AM/FM Stereo, Cassette with RDS
• Radio (UNO) - AM/FM Stereo, CD and RDS
• Radio (UPO) - AM/FM Stereo, Cassette with CD and RDS .The complexity of the radio systems on these vehicle is mind blowing .

Your best bet take it to a GM dealer , has features you are unawear of .
DTC B1025, B1035, B1045, or B1055
When the radio is powered up, the radio supplies low level audio signals to the speakers. If the vehicle is equipped with an audio amplifier, the amplifier will boost the signal sent to the speakers.
DTC B1025 Audio Output Circuit
Install a scan tool.
Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
With the scan tool, monitor the DTC Information for DTC B1025.
Does the scan tool indicate that DTC B1025 is current?

My battery went dead on my expedition. When i

I too ran into this problem when battery was removed and re-installed, the radio would power on but no audio. Called Ford dealership and they said they would have to flash the computer at a fee of $95.00 for it to work again. Fortunately my teen aged son who has been at school learning about today's cars said that in most cases removing the negative battery lead for 10 mins and reconnecting will also reset computer. Sure enough it worked and saved me some big coin.

I have a '99 Ford Taurus with a cassette and 6 changer cd player. The radio works for a while then cuts out, then comes back on. It can play for a few hours or a few days. I recently bought another radio...

yes i agree it sounds like it is overheating. Just pull back the carpet in the trunk on the left hand side. Check all the connections make sure its got a good ground etc.
This unit is where all the power etc comes from for the headunit and speakers.
