No this is not normal.Sounds like you may have a bad fuel pressure regulator so i would have it checked out if you can't find any leaks anywhere.Pull the vacuum hose off the fuel pressure regulator and look for fuel present in the line,if there is then the regulator is bad.Also pull the hose off the map sensor and look for fuel if fuel is present then replace the regulator.

No this is not normal at all.First i would check for leaks then if you don't see any check the fuel pressure regulator by pulling the vacuum hose off the regulator and look for fuel present in the line,if their is then replace the pressure regulator.Also do the same thing with the map sensor and if there is fuel present in the line then replace the regulator..

Has the carbon canister been replaced? Have you gone under the car and checked for fuel leaks, any leak will leave a tell tale stain.
