No Start, No Spark, for Grand Caravan 3.8L

Our van went dead, had it towed home....made quick check, had to replace coil pack. Van started and ran for about 2 weeks...BOOM...went dead again, made visual check of van and everything looked ok.....coil pack, crank sensor, cam sensor etc.... all checked out ok.......had check engine light code 353...i checked wiring system, noticed RED/YELLOW wire (ignition coil cyl. 3 and 6 driv) from computer to coil pack was giving me a grounded signal, so i disconnected the RED/YELLOW wire from plug, and the van started with misfire...was advised to replace computer......computer was replaced with rebuilt one.........now i get a grounded signal from the GRAY wire (ignition coil cyl. 1 and 4 driv) from computer to coil pack.......... RED/YELLOW wire is ok with NEW computer but still have misfire...........................................................................................................
...............................when all 4 wires are plugged in, from computer to coil pack, van will not start with either computer.....lost at this point....HELP!!! thanx in advance=)

My fuel pump stops working after the van runs for a little while!

Did you clean the tank when replacing the fuel pump? Not cleaning the tank is the #1 cause or repeat fuel pump failures.

Why would an 2005 Town and country van with a 3.8 engine start and sound/run good for a couple of seconds and then starts missing real bad.

Crankshaft position sensor maybe , throttle position sensor , coolant temp. sensor etc.... It could be a lot of thing's . Instead of buying this part an that part ,take it an have it diagnosed . To a good ASE certified repair shop . Unless you like buying unneeded parts .

Have the codes read. This will start you in the right direction. Quit taking advice from people who are guessing. The van died , the check engine light is on. read the codes and then we can help. Unless you want me to guess also.

Van will not start

Running then suddenly and abruptly stopped with no spark = broken timing belt. The Camshaft is not turning due to the timing belt being broken so you will not have any spark.

No not at all. The problem may be with the anti-theft system. Sometimes in older cars, especially Dodges', the theft system starts to act up even though you put the key in the ignition. You may want to have it checked out at the dealership, shouldn't cost that much just to have it looked at.

YOu should be able to tell if coolant leaks caused the coil pack to fail. I believe it is 2 issues.
