Orange symbol on dash

We have noticed a orange symbol has just appeared on the dash, unfortunately there is no handbook. The car is driveable.

    My wife saw an Orange "i" on the dash today and took it in (we have a 2003 9-3).  The dealer said the blower was broken.  I think the "i" might be a generic "something is wrong" light.

Most "i" lights can be cleared by hitting the clear button for the SID.

I understand from our local Saab independent dealer that 'i' stands for information, and indicates a minor anomaly - eg rear seat squab not engaged. Should be accompanied by a message on the dash top display.

It's to do with traction control...
usually means the skid control has armed itself because the car has detected a lack of traction (if you skidded) or the car has sensed it is cold
