My 2001 saturn L series wagon shakes when I drive low speeds. Berrings and struts were checked and replaced properly by a professional yet it still shakes. What could be causing it?

It's been about a month now. When my car is being drove, at lower speeds it shakes severally. At higher speeds it seems to stop. I have had the tires checked and the berrings and the struts etc. Nothing. It still shakes! It was just checked by a professional mechanic and even they can not seem to understand why it shakes the way it does.

Possible inner tie rods are bad. Another possibility is that the ball joints are going bad may be tires are in need of an alignment

SOURCE: Misfire

One question, have you replaced the ECTS (Electronic Cooling Temperature Sensor)? These cause no end of different seemingly unrelated problems on Saturns. Peice is about ten bucks and is an easy install. Just search on youtube for a how-to video. Even if that's not the problem it is reccommended to replace this peice just the same as they ALL end up going bad at some point.

If that's not a fix, start pulling plugs. Check to see if they're correctly gapped and if they have any damage/corrosion. If you're running Platinum plugs, immediatly change to a copper plug as Platinums have no place in these motors. Most people have the best luck with NGK copper.

Check to make sure that your plug wires haven't been crossed. This sounds like a plug or wire issue most likely so it has to be in that family, if the plugs are good, wires good and not crossed, sensors are fine, then time to replace your coil packs. If you've replaced everything up to the coil packs then that is most likely the cause of your dillema.

SOURCE: Front Left Differential ball berrings fell out(???)

Jeep will still roll in park with a broken front cv joint because of the viscous coupler in the transfercase. use the emergency brake to hold it in place until you get it fixed.

SOURCE: rear axle berrings

Tools needed- typical socket and ratchet set, Axle slide hammer, Wiz Wheel type rotary cut off tool, chisel, ball pein hammer, hydraulic press, bech vice
First you must remove the rear wheels, then you must remove the brake capiler and mounting bracket, remove the brake rotor. unbolt 4 nuts on back side of brake dust shield that hold the seal and bearing securly in place. then you must attatch the slide hammer to the axle shaft by using the vehicles lug studs and lug nuts. use the slide hammer to knock the axle shaft out of the housing. it generally takes about 10-15 hard slams before it comes loose. once axle shaft is free to come out remove the slide hammer and pull the shaft from the axle tube. place the axle shaft into a vise and use the cut off wheel to cut off the bearing spacer. cut parralell to shaft until you hear a snap sound once it snaps use the hammer to slide the spacer off the end of the shaft. next you need to cut the bearing off the shaft using a the same technique being careful not the cut the shaft or the seal retainer plate. once the bearing is off then you can slide off the old axle seal. now slide on a new axle seal, axle bearing, and bearing spacer. take assembly to a hydraulic press and press the spacer and bearing onto the shaft until it seats squarely and make sure its all the way down onto the axle shaft. lubricate bearing with gear oil. and install shaft back into axle tube making sure that the recess in the seal retainer plate lines up with the abs sensor wire. tighten all nuts evenly top off gear oil

2001 ford focus rear driver side tire wobbles by hand , what could cause it ?

I can not imagine anyone using any vehicle with a wheel
noticeably leaning in or out

You actually, not only drive that way at low speeds, but at
higher speeds -enough said- makes no sense you would risk
your car & your life doing so

Obviously you paid a shop in a sincere effort to resolve some
issues

Here the thing

You can see & feel the wobble by hand,so both you
& any repair shop can see the problem !!

What sort of shop do you use, that gives you a vehicle
back in that condition & why are you here for us to guess
at something, when you should asking the place that took
your money, what's going on, or maybe check with a lawyer

2001 Montana - Intermittent chugging/shaking at idle and low speeds

There is no way ANYONE can tell you if your engine shaking problem is related to ANYTHING until the cause of the shaking has been PROPERLY DIAGNOSED.

With that said, it sounds to me like you may hve some valve lifters sticking or maybe some broken valve springs. I really do not see how any of the things you listed could be even remotely related to a problem like that. However, once again, we are GUESSING until proper diagnosis proves otherwise.

HHR 2006. Front end shaking. Had a mechanic look & told me struts/shocks, car made poorly ... low, etc. NOW when start and driving loud noise similar to diesel cars--putt, putt. Drives alright....

Get a second and third opinion from other local mechanics.
Does the shaking chang with speeds? It possible you have a tire with slipped internal belt.
Could be a few other things too..
Sound issue may or may not be related. Have more than one guy look at it.

2001 mitsubishi eclipse gt rattles over bumps at low speeds

you could have bad mounting bushings for the struts or it could be other bushings in the rear axle tracking arms. in order to find out you have to jack the vehicle up.(use jack stands to support the vehicle for safety) check all the struts and shocks and any componant that has to do with keeping the wheels on the ground . that is what the strut/shock is for. check the coils spring to make sure they are not loose. the coils spring keeps the body from bottomning out... hope this helps..........please rate.
