How do i adjust the clutch cable on my peugeot 307 1.6 as it is too high?
Peugeot and citreon cars do bite high generaly, it is hydaulic there is no adjustment. but it also depends on how high it is ?? does it slip if you slightly rest your foot on whilst driving?? they do have a problem with the bearings going through the cover as it is the same bearing as a HDI . but you woud notice this as a different problem. ie noise or vibration on pedal. call me for more info .. paul @ the clutch centre..01527 64440 07790438337
You dont it needs a clutch
Why engine vibrate on 307 1.6
Check Hydraulic fluid (same one as the brakes) Also the release bearing is weak on 307 it may need changing. This happens especially if you drive fast off the mark at lights etc.. replace whole clutch with a better quality one. Like a rally clutch.
Don't worry about the fact that its comes too high to engage as in Peugeot 307 normally the ratio is little bit difficult to explain and master cylinder needs it room to release/engage the clutch.
