Panic Alarm My car's panic alarm keeps going off every 30 seconds after I have driven the car or even sometimes after the car has been sitting there for awhile. By the time I get out the car and go in the house (which is only about 10-15 footsteps) the panic alarm goes off ( you know the sound the car makes when you push the yellow button when you dnt remember what floor you parked your car on) That's the noise that comes on over and over again for about 30mins or so (no I havent push the button by mistake) like I said it even comes on when the hasn't been moved. The message tells me that I have to get it serviced (which I know) all I want to know is how I get it to stop making the noise until then (I'm going crazy from the noise and my neighbors are too) Hlep please
Recently broken into via sun roof, repaired at dealer, but a few weeks later, I have the same problem, but no sound, just the lights going on/off. Reset the info center. Since no noise, I have let it go, now two months later, info center states to service. Panic goes off.... have the dealer reprogram it and make sure the function of it is proper.. if the reprogramming does not work the module will need to be replaced like all other malfunctioning modules.

Your door locks are controlled by a control module . GEM - generic electronic module . Watch this video ! Door Locks Go Crazy 1 You possibly have a bad door switch .
If you are close to the truck when it happens, try removing the battery from the remote. Some times when remotes are worn, they can send out a constant signal setting off the alarm, unlocking the doors and so on. I would try that first. If it stops, then you verified the remote is the problem
I have a Saab 93 Vector and although my key does not have that function my manual says the following; 'Press once - Turns on exterior and cabin lighting, for 30 sec, or turns off lighting. Deactivates panic alarm. Hold and press for more than 2 sec - Cars with car alarm: panic alarm (activates alarm manually).
There is another section that says the button turns off lights and larm when activated and the car remains locked. The panic alarm can only be activated when the car is stationary and it will be silenced when the car is driven away.
Hope that makes sense. Enjoy your Saab 93 - I know I do every day.
Tony
Check your car battery. Many alarm systems during that mfg year relies on voltage sensors to trigger the alarm.. When a battery is old the standing voltage can vary enough to trigger the alarms resting voltage range.. keep in mind there are sensors in your seat too that is part of the seatbelt system that works on voltage. check both the battery and voltage sensor of the alarm
