1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 318 V-8 it has been hard to start on several differant days. Other times it would die and restart after setting. Noiw it cranks over but will not fire. It has 40 PSi of fuel pressure and the injectors pulse. There is no spark, I've changed the crank sensor and the coil. Any ideas? where is the diagnostic connector plug on this year Jeep?

Sounds like the ecu on your jeep is not powering up all the relays properly, allowing spark. Have the ecu checked to see if the capacitors, which regulate power to the main relays, are dead and need to be replaced.

SOURCE: 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado wont start.

If computer sees no crank sensor signal it shuts down pulses to the injectors. But, you bring something new into the mix. Make sure fender grounding is good so the relay can operate properly and make sure power going to it is not restricted by a loose or dirty contact on the power side.

SOURCE: i have no spark or injector pulse sometimes it

You got a crank sensor at back,on top of bellhousing.
Injector pulse, I believe is controlled by hall effect sensor in distributor, as well as spark

What is diagnostic code 22 for a 1994 Jeep Cherokee grand limited

That code is for the engine coolant temperature sensor. "...input above maximum acceptable voltage." I would try a new temp. sensor. If that doesn't fix it, you may need to have an engine scanner hooked up, and see what the sensor is sending to the computer, and go from there.
A bad coolant temp. sensor can cause hard starting like your symptoms.

94 Jeep Grand Cherokee heater coil has been replaced wont start

If you have a security system, close all the doors and then lock the drivers door with the key, then unlock it. That should re-set the system. I've had the computer completely disconnected from mine several times (used it to check another vehicle) and I don't have security...it started and ran fine...only difference between the two is the security so I'd try that.

93 Jeep Grand Cherokee Won't start

The crankshaft position sensor was seriously problematic in those old jeeps. It's located towards the top of the bell housing slightly to the driver's side I think.
