It will fit if you:

1. Use an adaptor for the new front wheel engine and the original transmission of your suzuki ( ask your machinist)
2. Have your propeller shaft from the transmission to the independent transfer case resized depending on the outcome of your engine mount.
3. adjust the bracket of your transfer case if you need more room for the propeller.(optional)
4. you dont need to change gear ratio if you plan to use the same tires

I have two toyota pickup truck 89 and 94 with 22re engine, I swap the engine the 94 manual transmission is ok but the 89 automatic transmission is not shifting into 3rd gear and the check engine comes

welcome to modern cars, the newer cars have a TCM.
you can just swap a mech, trans for a electronically swifted trans.
I swapped, you meant.
its not clear what you are doing here,.
why are you swapping engines
and are you expecting both cars to run? which makes above line odd.
no?

1987 Samurai idles fine. Above idle goes lean, runs rough, mc dwell 0. Rebuilt carb., no change. replaced with rebuilt carb., no change. Timing bounced around when engine running bad, replaced dist....

87 has no ECU. so must be an engine swap to a 89 or newer tracker
or last sammi that did have EFI.
you said EFI and Carb in same paragraph and that is a contradiction.
post to my bbs for more help.
http://www.fixkick.com/bbs/

post a link to a photo of your engine, many sammy cars have a newer engine and EFI added. no matter we can fix it, but you need to learn whats under the hood first, photos rule in this word.
