This code doesn't cause any lack of power, the fact of the matter is that code 25 is most likely a symptom of the problem, the engine has excessive spark knock being sensed. Have the engine compression tested and have it checked for a misfire. Also have the fuel pressure tested, low fuel pressure can cause this lack of power as well/

SOURCE: Need a service manual for my 1990 Ford Thunderbird SC

You could try faxon.com. They deal in old service manuals. They are manufacturer's service manuals for the dealerships and cost in the range of $50 to $75 each plus shipping.

SOURCE: looking for the location of the cooling fan relay

Should be in the power distrubution box near the battery. Also, there is a fan control module mounted on the right radiator support towards the top engine side

SOURCE: 1990 Ford Thunderbird SC with three trouble codes

CODE 13
Trouble Code 13 indicates that the exhaust stream oxygen content sensor (O2 sensor) is not responding as expected. When cold, the sensor is 'biased' by the ECM to about 450 millivolts. Before it warms to at least 600 deg F (315 deg C) it acts as an open circuit and when the ECM reads it, it reads the 450 mV bias. The ECM expects the sensor to warm in a short period of time and begin sending its own voltages.

SOURCE: 1990 thunderbird sc when you turn the key the car

It just clicks, this indicates problem with battery or problem with starter. If starter is faulty then battery will just give power to starter and click. The engine will not start due to faulty starter. Most likely starter is faulty, but if both battery and starter checked out ok then there are other possibilities too.Click the link below:-- http://technoanswers.blogspot.com/2011/06/1990-thunderbird-sc-when-you-turn-key.html----------------- This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

I have a 1990 thunder bird sc its been sitting for a couple years and i want to staart it. thing is i lost the key. any way i can start it with a screwdriver?

Generally speaking, yes.
You could drill out the lock cylinder, or remove the switch on the bottom of the steering column.
The steering wheel and shifter would still be locked.
