...i recently tried to pull my left front fender off my 1997 grand prix to fix the dents in it. i unscrewed all the bolts and what ever else looked like needed to be unscrewed. when i tried to pull it off it looked as if it was connected to the hood.......wtf?......i tried pulling and pulling. there was nothing holding it together, why would it not come off, someone please tell me how to pull my fender off please, its the driver side

U NEED TO TAKE YOUR FINDERWELL OUT FRIST ON THAT SIDE THIN OPEN HOOD THE BOLTS R RIGHT AT THE TOP WERE YOUR HOOD FITS THE FINDER SHOULD BEE ABOUT SIX OR SO NOTE THE FINDER WELL IS THE UNDER NEATH PART OF YOUR FENDER U MAY WONNA REMOVE YOUR PARKING LIGHT FOR THAT SIDE JUST TO MAKE SURE U DONT BRAKE IT AND JUST BELOW THE MARKER LIGHT SHOULD BEE A FENDER BRACE REMOVE IT ALSO ITS LIKE A SHORT METTEL BAR ALL BOLTS SHOULD BEE 1/2 INCH GOOD LUCK AND RATE THIS PLEASE

you should remove the entire hood...it'll save you the hassle of replasing it if it gets bumped when it's only attached by 1 hinge and it wrinkles, creases or outright breaks
