SOURCE: 1995 DODGE RAM 2500 4WD ENGAGEMENT PROBLEM!!!

You have vacumn lines the run to your transfer case and then to the vacumn motor on the front axle. you need to check the lines and connections. If vacumn is working fine, then motor on front axle is bad.

SOURCE: i have a 4wd 98

Pistol09pete,

It sounds like you have a problem with the vacuum lines that travel from the transfer case (these should be color coded lines that are green, red, and black). Goodluck

My heater isn't blowing hot air in a 98 Dodge ram 1500 quad cab. A/C works good and the heater only blows cool air. What could be the problem?

Your heater core is bad or the thremostat is stuck out. I would just get a new thremostat put in it 7 buck.

98 dodge ram 4wd hub assembly. passenger side. is there a washer that goes behind axle nut upon reassembly

Yes there should be a washer under the castle nut. Yours may have stuck to the hub when you removed it.
