When you buy the replacement water pump from an auto parts store, get a manual for the MKS there. It will have the step by step instructions plus tips and tricks on how to do the job correctly.
I suggest buying the CD with instructions and diagrams. it is not impossible but important to do it right and correct torqing of bolts is critical.
Also, Imperative that you replace the belt tensioner and the small shock attached to it. These usually fail shortly after the original water pump. replacing it now is easy replacing it later is very painful.
Jack up the passenger side and remove the tire.
Remove the splash shield to gain access to the belt and tensioner.
Remove the serp belt.
Remove the bolts holding the pulley to the water pump.
Remove the pulley
Remove the bolts holding the water pump to the timing cover.
Remove the water pump.
Be prepared for the bolts to break. It happens often!
Most likely you have a bad water pump. When the water pump fails it leaks coolant through small holes on the top and bottom.
Before you condemn your water pump clean the area and make sure the leak is not coming from another area.

Even if it doesn't cover your model year, the replacement instructions are pretty much the same for all years. in fact even a 240 Volvo manual would be essentially the same. Pay particular attention to the installation instructions....you have to slide the pump on, and then rotate it a few degrees clockwise to make the upper o-ring seal. Good luck!
