I have a 2005 dodge ram 1500. It has recently started vibrating when I accelerate between 50-70 mph. Any suggestions?

Your wheels may be out of balance. Go to a tyre shop to get them balanced.

Do not dress the spark plug wires to make them look pretty. The spark plug wires on must cross each other at right angles every place they cross. They cannot be run side by side, or the engine will crossfire.

SOURCE: 03 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab 4x4 Death Wobble at around 70 mph???

My truck is in the shop for this problem.
Dodge has a TSB out to adress it (Technical Service Buliten). Cause can be ball joints, track bar, pitman arm, drag link, stearing stablizer, shocks, wheel alingment, ect, gets expensive. Leveling Kits and 35 inch tires make problem worse. My truck is under warranty but if it was not I would still try and get someone to pay for the fix. You are not the only one with this problem. Good luck

SOURCE: front end vibration

sounds like you got the D.W (death wobble)
It is usually caused by either a bad tire,an off balanced, worn bushings, bad tracbar or loose steering components.

SOURCE: Transmission fluid levels & shifting Dodge Ram 1500 4.7

The transmission is slipping.

Sounds like it needs more than just adding fluid. I'd take it in for service before the transmission is further damaged.

1999 Dodge Ram van 1500 no pick up power

I had a similiar problem on my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 Conversion Van. It ended up being a partial collapse of the catalytic converter which didn't allow adequate exhaust. The problem only showed itself because I could not get over 55 mph going up a small hill.

Vibration in 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 (YES, this is a double post)

Could be u-joints. My wife's Pathfinder developed a vibration at highway speeds. A little research revealed the front driveshaft u-joints bearings would begin to fail causing some play. Took it in to have them inspected and sure enough- the little needle bearings were grinding down to dust. Replaced with greesable units and vibration is gone.
Certainly worth checking out.
