I have tried to clear some snow which were on the windscreen, wipers got stuck half way through and now its not working at all, I thought the windscreen arms might have loosened, but looks like its not it. cant here any noise when the wipers are activated, can any one give bit of advice??? Check your fuse compartment under hood. Fuse 3 & 12 for windshield wipers and washers. More than likely you've overloaded the wiper motor causing a blown fuse.

This happened to me too - several times. Fix by changing fuse number 10 and it works a treat!

this just happened to us, the drivers side stopped working after getting tangled up with the passenger side...it was just a case of tightening up the 13mm nuts on the wiper arm.

The relay for these should be in the motor assembly itself. If there is no power getting to the motor, replace the switch on the column. This should rectify the issue. I have a manual for a 406 if that may be of some assistamce to you.
