SOURCE: location of tps and map sensor on a 02 jeep grand cherokee 4.7l
Both are attached to the throttle body. Tps is on the other end of the throttle plate shaft opposite the linkage, MAP is on the side...has small vacuum hose underneath and is flat, about 3" long. The other item on the TB is the idle air motor, next to tps.
SOURCE: where is map sensor located on 1999 jeep grand
MAP is usually on the firewall...it's about 1/2" thick by about three inches long, has a vacuum hose and several wires plugged into it.
SOURCE: where is the map sensor located? 1994 jeep grand cherokee
Go half way between the air cleaner box and the "carburetor". Up the 4" black air pipe, a wire harness plug plugs into the MAP sensor there. Also called MAS air flow sensor.
SOURCE: Where do I locate the Crankshaft Position Sensor
Crank sensor is generally located on the bellhousing 11 o'clock position looking from the rear. It is always even with the flywheel as it gets it's trigger from that.
It is not easy to reach it but it is not impossible to do. If yours has spacers, remember that it is better to use too many than not enough (too close to the flywheel and it will self-destruct) it can pick up a signal nearly 1/4" away from wheel though. Since it's not easy to change, make sure you test it before you decide to replace it though!
