Oil filter cant find oil filter location on 2006 rav4

most cases it is next to the oil filter

I have an 06 Rav4 Limited w/4 cyl engine and the oil filter is under the passenger side near where you undo the plug to drain the oil. It can't be seen unless you get yourself behind (slide under vehicle far enough) the black plastic cover. You will need an oil filter remover and wratchet. I'm not a pro, just a female Toyotal owner for many years, and do my own changing on all my Toyota's. This vehicle's mechanical book is $500.00 plus dollars (Shame on Toyota) and therefore I will not purchase this one. If you have a JBL 6 disc changer do not fully load it and you may not have problems. Good luck and let me know if someone else helped you with this solution.

There is transmission filter cartridge that you should replace whenever you change the fluid. Located in your transmission.

the cabin filter is behind glove box, open glove box an release it so it opens farther to get to filter ( should be release clips at sides of glove box)

Just look under your car on the passenger side near the wheel, and you will see the oil filter right next to the oil drain container. Hope this helps. :o)

timing belts!!!! if you havent already! if that rubber belt breaks your engine is toast! very important! dont pay more than $600 for this job. people will try to screw you on prices

it should be under your car.....either on the very from or the very back of the engine.....and sometimes on the side of the engine...

it will be facing up or also it could be horizontally facing...

Appears that you have a serious leak.

oil pump in engine is like heart in human body ! do not run engine with out fix it .ck the oil pan,oil screen for mud and tar, oil filter for clogs, the oil pump is located in the L side of engine behand the timing cover next to the water pump

Hello, it's just in front of the oil pan put up high you might need an extension on the ratchet to get to it. It is oriented vertically and contained within a metallic screw shell.
