Misfire hello this is Francisco i got a mitsubishi eclipse 99 i got a trouble and it is misfire but i turn on the car it's ok but when i used the car about 45 minutes and turn off then,when i turn on again the car starting with missfire after a couple minutes the engine return to be normaly no misfire but after of 3 or 2 minutes the engine start again with the misfire every these misfired happen just when the car is not running when the car is running i got no trouble,just is when the car is stopped could you help me please?
Does it also take a few sec. longer to start. sounds like you could poss have leaky fuel injector/s. another poss. is worn piston rings/ or valve seals. is there a little puff of blue smoke during start up?

Well the check engine light should be on and there should be a trouble code stored in the computer for the cylinder not producing power. Once you know that you can check for spark and fuel.

YEP BAD COIL CLOGGED FUEL INJECTOR AND INTAKE LEAK TO CYLINDER 1.TRY CLEANING FUEL INJECTORS.IF STILL MISFIRE DO A COMPRESSION TEST TO THAT CYLINDER YOU COULD HAVE A MECHANICAL ISSUE.
It sounds like you have a vaccum leak to the engine. with the engine running at idle listen to see if you can hear a hissing noise especially around the intake manifold
