SOURCE: O2 sensor

my avenger starts now, but when its starts a small amount of coolant leaks behind my right front tire. But recently the is also a few drops of oil or other dark greasy liquid... Im trying to figure out how the two leaks go together? and if its only my water pump or something worse?

There are 2 cam sensors listed for my 2008 ford f150 truck, an A cam and an Bcam sensor for the 5.4 liter V8 engine in the truck, how I etermine which , A or B sensor it needs?

By the obd2 code extracted from the system with a scanner A is the right side/passenger B is the drivers side and you also need to know that bank 1 is the passenger side bank 2 is the drivers side for the O2 sensors and sensor 11 is the front one sensor 21 is the rear on bank 1 and sensor 12 is the front and 22 is the rear but sometimes they designate different numbers so always the odd numbered are on the passengers side and the even numbered on the drivers side and you have 4 O2/ oxygen sensors on a triton also 4.6's good luck stephen

I have a 05 Ford Taurus. 3.0 liter. Failing Emmision with the p420 and p430 codes. How many O2 sensors do they have and code that be the issue?

It actually has 4, O2 sensors. One just below where the exhaust manifolds bolt to the exhaust system then one just in front of the convertor and one right after it. The reading for a PO420 and PO430 is low efficiency at bank 1 and 2
which could also be a bad convertor. However, the sensors are cheaper.

LOCATION OF B1S1 SENSOR FOR 2002 AUDI A6 QUATTRO

Referencing oxygen sensor or O2 sensor or 'lambda sensor':

B1S1 is 'bank 1', which is the passenger side cylinder bank on a V6 or V8.

S1 is the 'upper' or 'upstream' sensor, closest to the cylinder.

my guess is you have the SOB, v6, it is a pistol

it looks like the engineer was asked, see if you can make it near impossible to change ! then make it the only connector on the

car with the lock , working backwards ! HE WON.

here is 1 page, just for this, issue, only one on the web. btw.

I have a po430 code bank 2 what 02 sensor is it?

P0430 is a catalytic converter inefficiency code for bank 2.

You didn't list a year make and model but I do see you have a GM. It is not an O2 sensor. It is the catalytic converter. You can confirm this by watching O2 data with scan tool. If the downstream O2 sensor switches simular to the upstream than the Cat is no longer doing its job.

Bank 1 always refers to the same side of the engine as the number 1 cylinder. Bank 2 is the opposite side. again without a year make and model that is about as detailed as I can get.

Trouble code is gen fr.

it's your alternator (64)
1 Engine control module malfunction
11 O2 sensor malfunction (Car usually runs weak when this code appears) (If a V6 this relates to the O2 sensor on the drivers side In a 4x4 Or the one at the back of the engine on a Galant)
12 Mass air flow sensor circuit malfinction
13 Intake air temperature sensor (Comes on if you have chucked the sensor away to fit some big fancy K&N induction kit!)
14 Throttle position sensor fault
21 Engine temp sensor malfunction (Check the spark plugs too because they carbon up if this sensor is causing the car to run rich)
22 Crankshaft position sensor (Try cleaning the dirt off the end before replacing)
23 Camshaft position/distributor hall sensor (Common on Galant 1800)
24 Vehicle speed sensor
25 Barometric pressure sensor (Another name for the MAP sensor)
31 Knock sensor circuit
36 Ignition timing adjustment connector fault
41 Injectors circuit malfunction
44 Ignition coil/ignition amplifier cylinders 1 and 4
52 As above for 2 and 5 (on a V6)
53 As above for 3 and 6 (On a V6 too)
54 Immobiliser control module to engine control module malfunction (comes on if you have changed one or the other and not had them programmed in by Mitsi)
55 Idle speed control actuator malfunction (A good injector cleaner and a thrash up the motorway usually fixes this!)
59 O2 sensor (if you have a V6 this is the sensor on the passenger side ona 4x4 and the one at the front on a Galant etc.)
61 Transmission control module/engine control malfunction
62 Intake manifold air control actuator/position sensor malfunction
64 Alternator malfunction (remember to check under load and when revved up)
71 Traction control vacuum solenoid malfunction (check the pipes for leaks)
72 Traction control vent solenoid malfunction (usually blocked with dirt)
