These codes, po 138 bank 1 sensor 2 shorted to voltage and code po158 means bank 2 sensor two shorted to voltage. these are the two rear oxygen sensors in the exhaust system. there two up frt and two in the rear, check the wiring on the two rear sensors, make sure that the wiring is not cut or stuck between metal. if the wiring is good then replace both rear sensors, when you get them ask for the left and right after the cat sensors. or bk1 s2 and bk2s2. after replacing them reset the computer. go to an auto parts sotre or if you have a code reader you can do it. hope this helps good day.

make sure you have erased the codes , if you are sure they have been erased , and they come back, the fault has not been fixed.

I have 2002 dodge dakota 3.9 california emissions it has 4 o2 sensors. It has a p0152, p0138, and p0158. How likely is it that all four sensors are bad?

very unlikely. Though it is possible that the engine is burning more fuel than the o2 sensors can measure. This could be caused by a number of things that affect fuel management. Use these codes as a reference to identify the problem.

Nissan pathfinder -service engine soon light on

ALL those codes at once ! When was it last in for service? Haven't recently filled up with gas somewhere different by chance? First thing I'd do is add some fuel additive with moisture remover, and system cleaner, and see what that does, if you can still drive vehicle without too much trouble. What & when exactly did all this start, and what is vehicle doing?
