Most likely issue is the driver's door latch. You will have to remove the door panel to confirm. After removing the door panel, remove the J12 connector from the latch and use an ohmmeter to see if the unlock switch inside the latch is closing when the latch is unlocked. The switch is between the pins on the J12 connector, which has the brown and black wires. See diagram at link below. http://www.revbase.com/BBBMotor/Wd/DownloadPdf?id=90399

I had same problem. it was not broken into. the screw that holds lock cylinder in fell out. to get inside door is easy. remove screws around border all sides of door and one in middle near speaker. the gentley snap door away from the two clips on inside and lift up off window opening . peel back plastic and you will see the lock mechanism. if need be ( i had to) you can unplug the automatic locks, window and other electric harnesses attached to door inside cover. the lock cylinder will be in bottom of door w/ a brass hex screw. there is a white piece of plastic insert in the hole of lock mechanism and reattach (snap onto bar). its all easy no schematic needed if you have a lil mechanic ability. good luck.

Look between the drivers door and the car at the hinge ends.Look at the tubing joining the door with the car,and pull it back to check the connection at the plug. You may have to go inside the car and pull the kick panel off,and find the plug to the harness, and check for bad connection there,Also check the ground on the doors.I hope this helps, but a test light would help if you had one to test voltage on both sides of the harness plug. And test the voltage at the motors, and switches.
