P0700 Transmission P01776 Ignition ****** request. P0870 Transmission fluid pressure sensor C. Your main concern is the valve body assembly this will take care of P1776. And as for the P0870 you will need the solenoid pack also. Before you decide to attempt this try a relfash of the TCM(transmission control module)

SOURCE: po700 and p1776

P0700 is EATX code present. It simply means that the engine computer has noticed that the transmission computer has a dtc in it. This causes the Pcm (engine computer) to turn the check engine light on. You will need to have the TCM (trans computer) checked for codes to know what to diagnose.

error code P1776 - Replace rear solenoid switch

Likely both related The P1776 probably kicked off the P0700 notification.

Hope that helps! Happy Motoring!

You need to get the code(s) read to be sure what it is. Take it to a shop that you trust and they will hook it up to a code scanner and tell you exactly what code(s) there are. From there you can plan your repairs.

code po870 refers to transmission fluid pressure(TFP) sensor C---circuit malfunction===causes--wiring---poor connection--TFP sensor---ECM/TCM. Check that the wiring and connections are in good condition and all the pins are clean. Replace the sensor and have the transmission control module check out.

Code 700 means you have a problem with the transmission or the control module. Code 340 is for the cam sensor for bank one.
Code 841 is for a problem with the low reverse pressure switch and that probably also set the 700 code.
Code 1776 is brand and sometimes model specific, generally speaking it is for a timing or ignition issue which could be connected with the 340 code.
I would clear the codes, drive the car, and see how many codes are reset again. Then go from there.

Obd2 code po700

Well looks like I have answered this question before for someone else.
Code 700 is for a problem with the transmission control module, 731 is incorrect first gear ratio, 841 is a problem with the low-reverse pressure switch, and 1776 is a problem with the low-reverse solenoid.
These components would need to be tested by a transmission shop.

1997 getting code P1776 & PO700 What does this mean

The code 700 is a notice that there is a problem with the trans control module, and code 1776 could be a problem with the low-reverse solenoid inside the trans. Code 1776 can trigger the code 700.
The solenoid would need to be tested.

I have a 2004 Chrysler Concorde LXI 2.7 Eng. Got Check Engine light twice with PO344 code (Cam Shaft). Dealer could not find problem and reset computer twice. Now I am getting error codes PO700 and...

check flexplate,i had a vehicle w/ 2.7 that would throw similar codes(cyl miss code that would change to"cam counter" then weird tranny codes and back)changed cntroll box on trans, coils, cam sensor .ended up being a cracked flexplate that shifted enough it was screwing with crankshaft sensor.the sbec(brain box) was going nuts trying to figure out why cam/crank signals didnt jive so it was basically"guessing" why.its a mechanical failure causing good sensors to read bad,if the codes come back or throw diffrent ones after reset look at non computer causes, dealer should know better.

I have a 2002 intrepid SXT 3.5L automatic trans(not the auto stick version) Just got codes PO700 and P1776 Would like to know what the codes indicate, and what repairs could be needed?

The p0700 means that there is a code in the trans controller. This code would then be the p1776. When the code was set the trans went into what they call "limp in mode". This is a safety feature that allows the vehicle to still driven in second gear so to make it to a repair shop or off the road.

P1776 is solenoid switch valve is latched in low/reverse. The most likely cause is the electrical portion of the trans which is called the solenoid pack. In order to replace this you need to remove the valve body inside the trans because it is bolted to the top side of it. I recommend making sure when the trans pan is dropped that there is no debris in the pan. If debris is found that the unit may need to be removed, torn down, and inspected to make sure there is no other problems.

P0700 is an alert code the p1776 is the actual trouble code.
Code p1776 is solenoid switch valve latched in low/reverse position. Valve is located in valve body not solenoid body reploace it
