Engine oil capacity for a 1998 mitsubishi triton perol v6 3000 4x4

Start with 3 quarts, run the engine for 3-4 minutes, then shut it off and let it cool.
Then check it again, and add oil in 1/2 quart increments until the dipstick shows full.
Or, look in the owner's manual!
Or call a Mitsubishi dealer, or ask any oil change service business.
God bless your efforts.

HYUNDAI TERRACAN LOSING POWER... Hi, I have a 2002 Hyundai terracan that has been losing power. along the highway and straight roads it was fine but on an incline it loses power and now has a job to do...

run the fault codes for an exact diagnosis but from your description of the problem I would be looking at a failing cat converter as it may be blocking up the exhaust system

2006 Ford F150, 4x4, Triton V8, 5.4L-loses power going uphill between 50-60mph. Check engine light code of P0430. This indicates exhaust system. Where to start?

code P0420 & P0430 usually indicates a problem with catalitic coverter restriced/clogged
a muffler shop can run a test to check this .a misfire in engine can also be a culprit of coverter
going bad because of unburned fuel going through exhaust system

good luck

My 1997 v6 petrol triton has lost power. i have replaced the plugs ,leads and coil packs. what else could be wrong.

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

May I ask if you have replaced the plug wires? If the plug wires are worn out the current tends to jump. One good reason why you lose power. This can resolve the issue.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

I have a 2002 Daewoo Nubira. We have recently had both the thermostat and the heater core replaced. We still have no heat (very little)! What else could be the problem?

More than likely there is an air pocket in the cooling/heating system. If there is no vent hole valve that is in the high point of the cooling system then what you would want to do is remove the radiator cap (when cool) to avoid getting burned, park the vehicle slightly uphill and start the vehicle and let it run til the engine gets hot enough to open the thermostat and burp out the trapped air. Many of todays vehicles don't ever really get hot enough to burp out system or the pressure in the system is too high to allow the trapped air to escape, that is why you want to remove the radiator cap. Hope this helps. If it does please give me thumbs up. Good luck.

Mitsubishi Triton V6 lacks power on acceleration

full power is only achieved when the engine is fully warm(operating temp).so if you accelerate more than, say, a third of the gas pedal, the car will feel sluggish.
this is more apparent when first starting the car in the morning in winter.almost like the car is going to stall.
most wear in the engine is leaving it to idle when cold you should always drive the car straight away from cold.then when hot turn on the a/c if required....

Running hot

run hot even at highway speed? no leaks, or sweet smell? ever have to top off coolant? ever boils out of system? if no to all these, sounds like your cooling fans aren't working. there is a fuse either on the motor cradle or on the passanger side wheel well. start the car, let it warm up, and check for power to the cooling fans.
