In my experience, you need to contact the Toyota dealer for these. They should have a record of them--they keep track of them by the VIN

You can register here and get access to the owners manuals (I would think the service guide/recommendations too): http://www.toyotaownersonline.com/Owners/reg.do

SOURCE: toyota rav 4

I work for Toyota, and I will be glad to provide you with the actual answer:

The RAV/4 product is available in two models, a 4WD model and a 2WD model.
The difference between the two is on the 2WD model, there is no driveshaft going under the vehicle to the rear wheels, and no rear differential. There is no "RAV/2"; both models are called RAV/4's.

There is a lot of common confusuion about how the 4WD works. It is full time 4WD. In other words, it is always in 4WD. It does not "kick in/kick out/automatically engage", or anything like that. It is 4WD all of the time. But, when I say "4WD", that is sometimes mistaken for "all wheel drive", and, in this case, the RAV/4 is not "AWD". What this means is that if you raise the RAV/4 up on a lift, and put it in gear, 1 rear and the other side front tires will spin. True "all wheel drive" would have ALL 4 wheels spinning. This is not the case with the Rav/4. What the RAV does have, making up for not having "True AWD" on the 5 speed model, however, is a switch that locks the center differential in the transfer case, which, when engaged, applies a method of "locking" the 4WD system for maximum traction, but it is still not AWD. The automatic version doe not have this ability.
The last "true AWD" vehicle for purchase was a 1970's International Scout.
If you are considering purchasing a RAV/4, that is a very good investement. They hold their value quite well, and are virtually bulletproof; I do not make any "money" off my RAV/4 customers...
Just "gas station work". Very nice cars. I hope that this helps you, please feel free to comment back with any otherr questions...Glad to be of assistance.

SOURCE: 1998 rav 4 ecu pinout location

sorry never done one so i havent a clue,in the good old days the tach connected to the coil wire but now with all this fancy electrics ,Well what happens is they call it vehicle security so they dont have to release the diagrams and this is done to stop people like myself from by passing the immobilisers when we service a vehicle.Because no doubt as you are aware on new cars that if you drop the oil the immobiliser cuts in.Change the battery and the same thing happens. So what happens to keep the dealers in work ,yes you have guessed it no wiring diagrams ,multilayered circuit boards and wires all the same colour to stop people like me from soldering the two outside legs together of a big switching transistor together to make the vehicle general mechanic friendly. Also encrypted software is used to stop the fault codes from being read ,they throw up the wrong code ?? try asking dealer to install then post where he connected too .,best of british with it

SOURCE: replace rear wiper 2007 RAV-4?????

Slide a small screwdriver under the tab in the middle of the blade and the arm, while pressing the tab in, pull blade away from the arm, this may need some extra wiggle. Remember you dont want it to fall off when driving..

The best idea is to contact a Toyota dealership. I suspect they can help you recover your radio code, if the radio is stock and came with the vehicle.

The flashing check engine light means there is a serious problem with the performance of the engine. You need to get the computer scanned for trouble codes next.

I am currently in the process of buying a 2004 Toyota Rav 4. 4 door, manual. It has 104,000 on the clock and I need to know whether the timing belt needed to be done at the 100,000 ks mark or if it in...

2004 Rav 4 has a timing belt and not a chain and it can last you about 160k's depending how it was used but replacing it at 100 is a safe margin.Factory installed belts are due for a change at 140k's.
