Snow and frost - my wife turn them on the passenger side works fine but the drivers side goes up 3 inches and that's it
The wiper arm nut has came loose, it's made to do that so the motor doesn't burn up when wiper is froze to windshield and cannot break loose. With wipers off push down at base of wiper arm and then re tighten the 14 mm nut holding arm to assy.simple fix...good luck!
Wiper nut and slot is damaged.

You will have to remove the front bumper to get to the bolts that hold the head light on
I would not recommend you try this unless you have some experience with this type of work
SOURCE: need to replace lower front ball joints on a 99
The ones from the dealer is a ball joint and the control arm which come together with the ball joint already press in one whole piece meaning less work to do. just a simple swap in swap out. The $40 from parts stores or parts source is just a ball joint itself which still needs to be press in which is more labor work.

dont you have the alarm key fob? if so that will reset it. just press unlock. If you dont an dits not a OEM Acura alarm you will need to find who makes it and get a new key fob, or have a shop that does alarms to disconnect it.
Testimonial: "thank you so much. Like most solutions, it was simple and obvious once you pointed it out. I really do appreciate the help!"
SOURCE: 2006 Acura TL - power windows - Passenger window
most new acuras have what you call an anti pinch sensors which means when there is an extra load on the power window motor, it is picked up by a controll module and makes the window go back down ie, you get your fingers cought between the window and the door frame. sometimes this happnes by its self because either the window is off track and not going up stright thus putting extra load on the motor. or, the window runner track its self (which is mostly rubber) is mislodged. causing the window not to fully rest in the full up position.
SOURCE: 1999 Acura TL - WIPER BLADES HIT HARD ON BOTH
I had this same problem. The wiper blades would extend too far and hit the edge of the car, or they wouldn't extend far enough and only wipe about 3/4 of the windshield. The problem was a broken Wiper Rod A. My local mechanic replaced it - the part was about $20 and the labor about $230. Have them look at wiper rod A
