Does the miss go away above idle ?, if so a bad sparkplug or lead could be the problem.

Why would my 88 f250 econoline van not switch tanks completely and can the switch be replaced with a manual valve

The fuel pump may be starting to go bad, when you get below half a tank, the pump does not submerge in fuel as much to keep it cool and it will seize up and stall the motor. You will need to replace the pump and check inside the bottom of the tank for small metal bits that almost look like shiny sand.

for Manual Valve replace. Thanks

There is no single torque specification for the injectors on a 1991 Ford F250 7.3 liter diesel IDI. Each injector has a specific torque spec, typically between 8-16 Nm.

For the 1988 model year, International altogether retired the 6.9L IDI and in its place began producing the 7.3L IDI.

My 93 ford f250, 7.3 IDI sounds like a rod is knocking when I first start it up but after it warms up it sounds very faint. What could be causing this noise?

The 7.3 idi engine is a compilation of ford and international engineering with a compression ratio of 21.5:1 ratio and produced 338 ft/lb of torque @ 1400rpm
It is an indirect injection engine (IDI) and the noise could come from a cracked pre-combustion insert that expands on compression heat and so reduces in sound. It may also be a faulty injector tip that is squirting rather than atomizing as it should
I would remove the injectors and have them tested at an accredited diesel repair specialist before going any further. Talk with a service centre for advice on the insert but as they are normally covered partially by the block there is a risk that they may come out or disintegration but it needs checking out.

My car will not run or starts and will not take the gas when it rains or damp outside. when it sets a day or two then runs great. What can it be. I was told it can be a module. Which one. yes 1996...

If your car is equipped with a 2.4L Quad 4 engine, you most likely need to replace your ignition coils. They are located inside what is called the "IDI Module" This is the large cover on the top of the engine that says "Quad 4". The ignition coil housing and spark plug boots should also be replaced. (See pictures below)

To replace the coils, disconnect the IDI electrical connector (Driver's side of the IDI Module) Remove the 4 bolts retaining the IDI Module to the cylinder head.

NOTE: be careful not to loose the washers under the bolts. Sometimes they will stick to the IDI Module and will fall off when you remove it. It is best to take a small screwdriver and get them loose before they have a chance of getting lost. Trust me...It happens all the time.

Remove the IDI Module from the cylinder head and flip it over. Remove the 4 screws holding the coil housing to the IDI module and remove the housing. Remove the screws holding the ignition coils and remove the coils. Reverse procedure to install.
