Ok i have a pontiac grand prix gtp sc, my problem is my abs and tcs off lights are on and i have no clue what it could be can anyone help me.
I've had this happen numerous times on my 1999 gtp... It is a wheel speed sensor, which is part of the wheel bearing... The only problem is, you need to figure out which side it is (drivers or passengers). I have 180,000 miles on my grand prix and I've had to replace the wheel bearings four times... two times on each side. I would be willing to bet that the wheel speed sensor is the culprit. The bearings aren't too hard to change. (not worth the $500, that the dealership charges.) Good luck!!
These lights are on because the system has a fault and it has disabled itself, so you have no anti-lock brakes or traction control right now, you will have to have the system tested for trouble codes by a shop with the proper test equipment, a GM dealer is your best bet.
