Intermittently the interior fan and radio will wither stay on after key is off or turn on by themselves while parked. A strange solid beep tone can sometimes be heard from around the glove box area and it's not the same tone as the key warning. Nothing seems to affect a fix; it just stops on it's own.

Try spraying WD-40 into the door latching mechanism (door side). I learned this fix after two battery replacements, but have only had to spray twice in the more than seven years of ownership

The beeping noise is coming from the airbag module located behind the glove box. It will require a trip to a mechanic to get the issue resolved.

When they stay on try opening the passenger door and see if they shut off, I have a good reason for asking, try it and let me know
