My power steering light is on and it is hard to turn with the steering wheel
Did you check the sterring fluid under the hood????
should be located in teh right front mounted to the side of the enigne(not really sure, every car every year changes.) how about a pic of the engine compartment?? then I will be able to tell you exactly where.
Hi, I have this same exact car and although this didn't happen to me, I do know that these cars had a recall on the power steering (i don't know car terms so don't attack me if my wording is incorrect!). The lady that previously owned my 07 G5 took it to a Gm/Chevy/Pontiac dealer and they replaced the defected parts for free.
Also, if you ever have fuel leaking or smell gas but kind find a leak, there was also a recall with these cars that had to do with that too. I took mine to a Chevy dealer and they fixed everything for me for free and I get MUCH BETTER gas mileage now.
Anyways, here is a link that tells about the recalls:http://www.motortrend.com/cars/2007/pont...

Hope this helped! (Oh and if you know anything about sunroof drain tubes leaking, look up my question and help me answer it, please. Thanks so much!)

We cannot find where to check the power steering fluid under the hood. Do you know the location? Or where to check if there are leaks?
