It is probably the o-ring in your oil pump. I have the exact problem in my Cavalier. it is a little expensive to fix and I believe you practically have to pull the motor to replace it. Just keep oil in it and you might want to wash down the motor compartment area to cut down the oil spray areas. Don't use a cleaner that will make it too clean because with a motor that oil you may cause more leaks. Sometimes with an old motor you need the build-up around certain sealed parts to fill gaps because it is an older motor. I had that problem with my Old mustang may she RIP, i used a detergent oil because I was told to and it started leaking 3 - 4 qts. of oil weekly and didn't before I used the detergent oil.

Thankyou for the reply post. I found it was the water pump and just because it appears that the weap hole is at the top of the water pump it is in fact there is one at the bottom. But with further inspection and replaceing the water pump I was informed that I have a head gasket leak at the front of the engine. It is at this time small. And will require $$$$$$$$ ( $ 800.00 to $ 1300.00 est. ) to repair, I paid only $700.00 for the car and to this day have put in $1100.00 to it. But I love the car! But if can survive till the taxes come next year, I can do it. Baby it and don't drive it much, God willing it will be ok.

That hose is the drain hose for the air conditioner evaporator. If it is leaking coolant, there's a good chance that your heater core is leaking, as it is in the same 'box' that the air conditioner evaporator is in. You'll need to replace the heater core.

You can buy a florescent dye to add to the oil and a light to make the dye really shine.
Clean the engine with "brake clean" from a spray can at the oil leak areas ....then run the engine.
Check for the start location of the leak.
Start with a short run time ....... then longer run time if necessary until the leak(s) show.
With or with out the dye ......this brake cleaning method should help locate the leak(s).
Oil leak locations could be...in order of the most common on your car are........valve cover gasket, oil filter, oil pressure sending unit, drain plug, oil pan gasket, crank pickup sensor, rear seal.

That is really quick, like you are getting no water flow at all. Make sure that a radiator hose is not collapsing enough to stop the flow. If possible on that model, take off the radiator cap and shine a light to see if the water passages in the radiator are clogged up with rust or sediment. If this started after the new thermostat was installed, make sure it was not put in backwards.
