it is either the drivers side door lock or the passenger side but i would go for the drivers door first, it wants a new lock but more often than not removing the door panel and squirting with a proper oil can with engine oil in around the door lock and the operating mechanism will cure it
I believe the fuse for your starter is in the power distribution box, 93 explorer 4.0L 4X4. find diagram for this in Chilton Ford Ranger/Explorer/Mountaineer 1991-1999 Repair Manual 26688 page 6-43 Fig.88 Be aware that there are (4) figures for the 93 4.0L explorer and each shows a different part of the same engine wiring. See top right 'power distribution box' follow lines to the part of your engine you are concerned with, which fuse number, then look inside your engine, passenger fender, push down on the protective ?wall then pull the cover up, see your diagram and fuse numbers.
