2008 Ford Focus blown cigarrett lighter fuse

What is the question?

Not much point in replacing the fuse, probably
just blow again

Have to get the lighter out & unplugged, to see if the fuse
will hold, then I would guess replace the failed lighter part

Did you try & use it for other accessories & blow the fuse?

I have a 1995 lexus es 300 and the cigarrette lighter does not work. could that be an issue with the fuse? if so, I do not have access the manual and in the fuse box lid it is not labeled which one is...

Sure, take a test light and hook one side up to ground and with ignition on, not running, test both sides of the fuses until you find one that doesn't light the test light. That should be the bad one. Take it out and look at it carefully, and you should see where it is burnt. Replace it with the same amperage and you should be back in business again.

Does not read obd plug, so it cannot pass inspection, a/c does not work or turn on neither does the cigarrette lighter

often times if you fix the cig. lighter (replace fuse) you will be able to read obd. uses power from that fuse to power up scan tool. make sure no pennies or anything in cig lighter blowing the fuse.

Fuse blew to cigarrett lighter now a/c rear lights, door locks, horn, dash lights and other things will not work but fuses are not blown what could be wrong. no burnt wires are seen

check the relays for all of the items listed they may have tripped in a chain reaction to the fuse blowing. also check that there are no loose connection any where.

Wheres the lighter fuse

The cigarrette lighter fuse should be located either behind the glove compartment in the fuse holder if there is one, or below the steering wheel behind the dash, just above the accelerator/brake and or clutch pedal. Should be a 10 amp mini fuse (red)

2005 mazda tribute cigarrette lighters dont work which fuse needs to be replaced?

all cigarette lighters in vehicles are ran to a 12 amp fuse. look wherever your fuse panel may be (under the hood, in next to the steering wheel) and see if you need a new fuse. good luck

Interior lights not on when I open the door

fuse was out for the lighter--heat may be a thermostat-will find out--no solution for the light situation, yet.

Cigarrette lighter wont work

using a test light touch each side of all the fuses one at a time lift seide then right side of fuses. if power on only one side then bad fuse. this fuse should be the same as the radio or acc fuse. also check power to the back of the socket as this connection sometimes burns out.

Ps dont forget to rate the solution. Thanks
