P0328 Is knock sensor code, all Nissan have this code so leave, concentrate on P0101 and P0103 this is MAF(mass airflow),Just make sure the timing belt is in good condition and the marks are correct, your solution is NTB02-003A In other word you need a reprogram on the ECM

How often should I change the oil in my 2002 Nissan Frontier?

Some people change oil at 3000 miles, most people don't really care or keep track
I would say 3 times a year,if you drive less than 10,000 per year
4 times a year ,up to 20,000 miles per year driven
Use at least semi or full synthetic oil

When the truck idles the engine stops running

Does it feel as if the vehicle is not "down shifting" into low gear when you approach the stoplight? If so, then the torque converter "lock up" for OVERDRIVE may not disengaging so the vehicle is stuck in high gear and it will kill the motor. If you switch to park and it starts right back up that might be the problem. A temporary fix is to disconnect a wire from the lock-up torque converter switch, but overdrive won't work and you wouldn't want to do a lot of highway driving until you replace the lock-up switch.

At what milage should a timing belt be changed on a 2002 Nissian frontier crew cab?

60-80,000 miles is a great benchmark for ANY vehicle. nissan recomends 105,000 miles which seems a little excessive to me. be careful because this engine is listed as an interference motor and WILL cause internal engine damage if it was to break.

My 02 frontier sc turns over but wont start high pictched sound when ignition is turnin over, timing belt? was driving and it shut off on its own

how many miles? it could be the timing belt. some engines will destroy valves, etc. when the T-belt breaks. that is why the mfg. insists you change it between 60-90k miles. i'm not sure if nissan is one of those that causes major problems to the engine when the belt goes? better safe than sorry, change @ the recommended interval. good day.

2002 nissan frontier dies when idleing after it has warmed up

The squealing belts could be either too loose or too tight, because the power is also an issue it could be that the alternator is failing and it's bearings are causing the belt to wobble and make a noise.
If there isn't enough power at idle to keep the battery charged up and when you turn the radio on more power is being used causing the engine to stop.
The solution is to get a multi-meter and check the voltage on the battery terminals before starting the engine, should be around 12 volts. then again when the engine is running, should be around 13.8 volts, if it's not the alternator isn't charging the battery and will need to be changed. Hope this helps.

2002 Nissan Frontier timing belt

Timing belts are found on the 3.3L engines, timing chains are on the 2.4L engines. The 2002 3.3L Timing belt is changed at 105K during the major service. This service can run over one thousand dollars. It is recommended to replace the belt, tensioner and idlers, cam and crank seals, water pump, and both belts when changing the timing belt. That way, you only open up the front of the engine every 105K. Why change the timing belt and have a water pump start leaking only 20K later and ruin the belt with antifreeze? Other items during the 105K are a major tune up with all the fluids changed and a lube. This does get expensive. You can break it up into several blocks of time and spread the related service items out over a few months to take some of the sting off.
