the module is located under the center console , CAUTION WHEN WORKING ON AIR BAG SYSTEM, A CERTIFIED TECH SHOULD BE THE ONLY ONE TO WORK ON SYSTEM. this will avoid false deployment or failure of system in a crash.
Hello and welcome. the radio amp is mounted under the center console. the console will have to be removed to gain access to the amp. here is a picture of the amp
The 2002/2003 Silverado was a change over year for Cabin Air filters. I know with the Chevy Avalanche
the 03's did not have them and 02's did. The dash/center console
changed with the 03's, and I believe it was done away with in that
change over.... Still shows up on catalog, but the 03 has no Cabin Filter.
Yes you do. Not a quick job. If you have a center consol you will also need to remove the seats to remove the center consol, so you can remove the dash.
I have the exact same thing happen with my 03 silverado. I beat it open and then took out the plastic molded part the latch is in and noticed there's a little white plastic cylinder that fell out, but I don't know where it goes to fix it..... damm it....
