you could change the fan to an electric one and take off the old fan off why bother.....alternatively try soundproofing the bonnet/hood works for me(cheaper)

you more than likely need new U-joints, im assuming its four-wheel-drive.

SOURCE: 2004 dodge ram rear end noise

while you had the cover off did you by chance look at the condition of the ring gear and spider gears...if it was run for any length of time low on fluid or with two different sized tires you may need some repairs but first inspect the ring gear and rotate till you can see the 4 little beveled gears inside the differential ....use a screwdriver and check for excess movement...look at the crossshaft and look for wear.....hope this points you in the right direction.

Clunking noise doesn't happen all the time but speeds up and slows down with truck speed 2014 ram 1500

Drive over a bump with only one front tire and listen for a clunk. If so, its your stabilizer links.
Other causes could be u-joints, spare tire bracket. etc...

Clunk noise in front end

Do you have 4 wheel drive ? If you do you "could " have a problem with the transfer case. The noise you describe is indicative of transfer case issues.

I have 95 dodge ram 1500 truck . when i'm driving down the road i have a clunking noise . what could it be?

If it happens in the rear it could be a bad shock and if it comes from the front it could be a bad shock or ball joint.

Rear end noise when i let off the throttle

Check the U joints, there more common to go bad then the differential, unless you are low on differential fluids. You can take it to a drive line shop and have them replace the u joints and differential fluid and also have them readjust the ring and pin in the differential to give you more life out of the rear end. Good luck and keep me posted. Be glad to answer any questions you may have.

Clunking front hubs

usually the noise in the front end is the u-joints or cv joints out towards the tires.
