When I turn on the blower, I have to turn it on High, which works fine. With all the other settings, it seems like the system is clogged or the blower motor is bad, because I don't get any air coming out. Where is the blower motor, and how difficult is it to replace? I have basic mechanical skills (I've changed a couple of starters before) and that's about it. Thanks in advance for any help.
Bencar1 is right. The problem is probably the resistor. But it also could be a burned terminal in the 4 prong plug that attaches to the resistor. There will be burn marks on one of the prongs of the resistor if this is it. Look for the obvious. Good luck.

Most newer vehicles have a Blower Motor Resister in line with the Speed Control for the Blower Motor, and it may have gone bad. Any decent Auto Parts Store should be able to look up your car, and determine if it uses a 'Blower Motor Resistor', and tell you the cost. You will need at least a Haynes Manual, or Chjilton's Manual for your car, in order to locate where the 'Blower Motor Resistor' is.
What you have is a bad connection. Not the motor not the relay.To the to the resistors .
Lets put it this way all 3 or 4 resistors did not blow out at the same time and not blow out the relay or fuse .They run in series one bad connection makes none of them work except HI fan that runs of the relay /main power .
Clean the connector and it will work again .
You have to change the resister.

I have the same blower motor problem on a 2002 Intrigue. I figured it was a incremetal speed resistor but was not sure how to get to it to replace.

hey i gotthe same problem with my 200 grand am... only got the highest setting.. i kn ow its the resistior.. where is it located in the car and how do i get to it?
