Blower motor problems
If ,and when, your blower motor has problems, and it will not blow on the low speeds, consider the blower resister,it is what controls the speeds for your blower motor. Now,replacing the blower resister is the thing to do,but two things to check for also,,the connector to the blower resister, and to the back of the fan select switch, the one you control,on the dash. These connectors, including the fan switch can be burned, and need replacing also. Now the reason these go out,and burn, and melt the connectors,is,that the blower motor is pulling too many amps, even though the blower motor runs great, and sounds good, trust me,the blower motor is the reason,so replace all of these parts when you replace the resister. If the connectors are fine, and the blower switch is fine,of course they will not need to be replaced, but the blower motor is a must,or you just might have to do it all over again in a few months, along with the switch, and connectors I mentioned.
