Which or the 6 colored wires leading to the sensors inside the filter housing are the wires for the IAT?

i sure didnt find out anything good about this chip
im always looking for ways to increase my MPG
just to show you what is inside this pack and from what i have found no one has had any luck with this chip. and also my books only go to 2006 for your van.
hey i just call a good friend of mine who is a ford master tech and he had a 2007 for f150 come into his shop with one of these tha had an engine melt down . what he told me was this is just a resistor and changes the valvue of what the computer sees the air temp is . so it tell the computer that the outside temp is warmer than it realy is . and this leans out the fuel mixture.
and voids warranty. ford has put out a service bulliton on this chip.
just hate to see ya cause more problems
the only programer i have seen that works is the hypertech and it only somtimes get 1 mpg better

Well since the intake air temp is read on the MAF its the gray wire The signal return wire is gray with a red tracer

i bought a chip from SLR Motorsports that gets installed onto the two wires that go to the IAT sensor. There are 6 wires in that harness so I'm not sure which two actually go to the IAT sensor. My E-350 is getting about 7.5 - 8.4 MPG. This chip is supposed to help better the mileage

I understand that there is no "big improvement" by installing anything on the V-10 E series. I would be happy to get even 8/10ths of a MPG. if this chip gives me any improvement at all I would be happier than what i am now. Our 2003 E-350 with the V-10 gets a bit over 11 MPG and has 135K miles on it. BTW, the 03 has the same IAT sensor plug as the 08 does. Do you have the IAT info for the 03 by chance?
i was hoping to run this module for aobut 5-10 tanks of gas. if nothing improved then i would yank it out. I do mainly freeway driving with this work truck too.
