two first things to check fuel and spark ...fuel make sure your fuel pump is working its messy but the easiest way is to pull the fuel line "only one connection" and turn key to on then press gas pedal and gas should pump out if not fuel pump is bad... if thats not it you want to check for spark easiest way is to pull one of the spark plug wires and stick a screwdriver in the end then hold the screwdriver to where the metal shank is approx. 1/4" away from any metal surface ... hold the screwdriver without touching the metal shank!!! have someone crank the engine you should see a spark intermittently between the screwdriver and the metal youre holding it close to.. if thats ok the only other thing i can suggest is get a battery with more cca "cold cranking amps"..hope this helps..OH YA ON A SAFER NOTE!!!...DONT LOOK FOR SPARK WITH THE ENGINE WET WITH FUEL..

EFI= to Electronic Fuel Injection. If you have sparks, check for fuel delivery. Another is the electronic module on your distributor, but you already said you have spark and hopefuly the right "timming" too. So you checked the current and is OK, what else do we have. The computer? Remeber that Camry,is the cadillac of the Toyota. Some even have Lexus parts. So expect parts to be rather expensive!.

there are three things that make a engine run. Fuel, Fire, and Compression. If you take any one of these away, no engine will run. First check your spark. By the way, THESE ARE SHADE TREE MECHANIC WAYS OF DOING THINGS. Unless you have alot of money for test equipment I would try these. Remove a sparg plug wire, insert a screwdriver into the end, set the screwdriver blade close to a ground, but dont touch it to metal, have someone crank the engine and see if you have a nice blue/white spark. If you dont, then thats where you problem is. If you do, see if some one has a compression gauge(AutoZone loans these tools, Deposit required. Check online to see what the compression is supposed to be. Check each cylinder and write the results down. Eack cylinder should be close to the recommend pressure. It varies from cylinder to cylinder. If you have alot of diffrences in compression, you possible may have blown a head gasket. If they are close to each other, then check for fuel probblems. To keep you safe and to protect my self, I would get a fuel pressure tester from AutoZone also. The tester will come with instructions. Good luck.
